Christians are to bless the Jews and help in their return to their promised Land.

By having over 20 years of building strong relationships with the people of Israel, through continual encouragement and support, our love for His people grows and brings connections.

Our heart’s desire is to do our part in speaking up for those who, for centuries, experienced nothing more than “hate” in the “name of Christ”, from so-called Christians.

That included Adolf Hitler himself, who used Martin Luther’s last completely inerrant days, of non-Scriptural theology, to espouse Replacement Theology.

This totally wrong belief is that the “Christian church” has replaced Israel as the one receiving the promises of the God of Israel. Today, it remains totally inaccurate, both historically and spiritually.

The Jews had been given, and on many occasions even bought, the land of Israel, which they have now returned to. That includes all of Jerusalem.

We are also committed, as Christians, to help Jews make “aliyah” and return to their homeland.

As Scripture states in Isaiah 49:22, “Thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations and set up My standard to the peoples; And they will bring your sons in their bosom, And your daughters will be carried on their shoulders.”

In several of Steve Martin's previous 38 books, he writes stories and chapters on Israel and our friends in the Land. Their lives, their courage, and the Ahava Adventures we have had, sharing our time with them in Eretz Israel.

In my desire to share these stories with you in a more concise manner, I have chosen the “best ones” and included in this book, “Love For His People – The Land and Friends in Israel”.

Having given almost 39 years so far (and this being my 39th book!) to loving and supporting the chosen people, as the Living God of Israel so ordained throughout the Bible of the Jewish people, it is proper and time.

Now, centuries later, prior to the time when the Third Temple will be built on the same location, the Jews have returned to their Promised Land, re-established their nation in 1948, and recaptured the entire city of Jerusalem during the Six-Day War in 1967. The times of the Gentiles' rule over the city have drawn to an end. The time of the Jews will complete this end.

Having been victorious in the wars surrounding nations have begun against them, the Jewish people continue to be under the protection of the Lord Almighty, Who Himself will cause them to be the fulfillment of Scripture, and be in the Land that He will return to, as the Ruler of the Nations.

When I travel to Israel regularly each year, the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) has now called me to encourage others to go as well.

The Bible speaks to Christians these words,
“Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God.
“Speak kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has ended, That her iniquity has been removed, That she has received of the Lord’s hand
Double for all her sins.”

A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. “Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley;

Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed,
And all flesh will see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

After 30 times going to nless Israel and the Jews, I am more committed than ever to stand in support of my friends in their Land.

About Us

Laurie and I, through the ministry of Love For His People we founded in 2010, give love and support for our friends in Israel with humanitarian aid, social media support, Steve's messages of encouragement, and our Ahava Adventures annual trips to Israel. Steve has also authored and published 39 books. We live in the Charlotte, NC area, and have four adult children, spouses and eight grand kids.
